At least he had a good game yesterday

Big Fat

Disappointment.  The GD Vikings.  We have so many good players on our team and can not get our shit together.  What is the deal?  I think it's time to look at our coaching staff.  I'm thinking about moving to another state so I can follow a team that doesn't make Sundays, slit my wrists day.  If Moss and/or Percy leave, I will become a fan of their new teams.  I hate fairweather fans, I think they're lame.  I pride myself on being a true a fan, no matter what, but seriously?  How long can a person do that.  Disappointment, it's a bitch.

That Time of Year

It's 6:30 and it's pitch dark outside.  It's that time of year.  The time of year when you go to work and it's dark outside and when you get home from work it's dark, when everything is the color of poop, when we're all bracing ourselves for another long ass winter and the time of year when the liquor store loves me because I increase their sales by 1000%.

Windy

Worst. Date. Ever.

One word:  WINDPANTS

Who the eff wears windpants on a first date?  Granted our "date" was at a sports bar, but really?  I almost fainted when I saw him.  It was like I was frozen in my tracks.  And from then, things just went downhill.  He shouted when he talked and didn't stop talking for one second.  Then he accused me of not talking.  I finally told him, I can't talk because you don't shut up.  He laughed, apparently he thought I was joking.  He knew everyone at the bar, workers, patrons, everyone but then claimed that he hardly ever drinks.  Um, are you sure?  Because I think you've slurred your words 10 times.

About 30 minutes into our "date" he informed me that he didn't want to have kids.  I said, well, that's a deal breaker for me.  I want to have kids and won't budge on that.  He said, well, it's not that I'm dead set against it, I just don't know.  I said, again, I do know and need a man that knows.  I then said, I'd like to adopt also...he looked at me like I had a penis and asked, why would you want to adopt?  NEEEXXXTTT.

I told my mom she better have money saved up for a dowry because they're arranging a marriage for me.  I'm never going on a date again.

COTW

I missed last week...I'm making up for it today.  This man stole my heart 12 years ago and I've never gotten it back.  It's not that I think he's this hot stud, it's that his skills as a football player make him absolutely delicious. He has been my all time favorite player since 1998, that will never waiver.  (Don't worry Percy, I'd still give you the red light special.)  When he left, I cried...no, that's not a joke.  Stop laughing.  Just that there's a chance he could be back in purple, has made my entire week....shit, my entire year.  I love you boo!

YES!!!

Had a good weekend!  Finally feeling back to normal.  Friday I went to Rojo with a girlfriend...we were actually able to sit outside, with the help of a few heat lamps.  I know soon enough I won't even want to look outside let alone sit on a patio.  Anyhoo...I ordered a large margarita and munched on some food, I was in heaven  It was delish, I can't wait to go back, preferably when it's less busy. It was an hour wait inside, hence the patio sitting.  But, when I was in bed by 10 I realized I'm not so cool. ( I did make up for that on Saturday night however.)

I woke up Saturday feeling great, did some cleaning and then headed to my step-cousin's wedding.  After an HOUR, yes an HOUR drive in the car...I was ready to cut a bitch.  I didn't even make it in time for the wedding.  Considering the wedding was only one city away, the fact that it took me an hour to get there is something I can't comprehend.  I swear to God, if they close one more GD road, I'm writing my mayor.  Anyone know who that is for Bloomington?  I wasn't going to go into the wedding because I was not about to walk in as the bride was walking down the aisle.  So I sat in my car until I finally got the ok from brother via text.  After that we headed to the reception, enjoyed food, drinks, dancing, drinks, laughs and more drinks.  It ended pretty early, for some reason I wasn't able to drive home so my friend Cindy picked me up and we headed to a bar by my house.  Somehow, I was up til 4am and may have drunk dialed every person I know.  If you didn't get a call consider yourself lucky.

I spent Sunday at my mom and step-dads hanging out with my step-dad's family.  More to come about that in a future blog!  A little hint...I'm now black.
